INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (October 28, 2004)

United States Auto Club officials have announced that three racetracks have agreed to host USAC Northeast Ford Focus Series events for the 2005 racing season. The first three tracks to join the USAC Ford Focus Series family of racetracks are Seekonk Speedway in Massachusetts, Adirondack Speedway and Oswego Speedway in New York State. These three tracks will stage a combined total of 10 races during the 2005 racing season.

Steve Wall, Northeast Focus Series coordinator, said, "Seekonk, Adirondack and Oswego Speedways are all very enthusiastic about the Ford Focus Series coming to New England." Wall continued, "We are looking at 10 cars being built for the series now and are looking forward to more cars being ready for the opener next Spring."

Congratulations to Michael Sboro winner of the 1st Feature Race of USAC's brand-new Carolina/Virginia Ford Focus Midget Car Series at Hickory (N.C.) Motor Speedway.

Michael Sboro of Charlotte, N.C. driving a Hawk Midget Race Car built by Seymour Enterprises of Marlboro, MA. led all 20 laps of the first 20-lapper to beat Rex Norris III, Brice Kenyon, Chase Scott and Hartsell. Sboro is a 16-year-old high school student competing in his first-ever Midget race.
