The Carbon Fiber fiber finish does not change the weight or

order that must be placed at the time the helmet is ordered.

Vortex is Bell's
original state-of-the-art lightweight multi-purpose helmet
featuring aggressive styling, comfortable fit and outstanding
ventilation. Vortex is always up to the challenge and can be
used in any style of racing.
In addition, the Vortex now features our new SRV friction shield
system. This new system has a slide mechanism that allows the
driver to adjust the tension on the shield allowing for multiple
opening positions. When properly adjusted and in the locked
position, the SRV system helps reduce the possibility of the
shield opening during an impact. |

Vortex Forced Air features an air chamber system designed to
increase pressure and accelerate airflow into a sealed chamber in
the front of the helmet maximizing ventilation and cooling. |

the Vortex Forced Air is the helmet of choice for drivers using
an external cooling system. The helmet features a large eyeport
and lightweight design. Developed with the involvement and
feedback from top Nextel Cup drivers, the helmets' advanced left
side ventilation port, mesh face piece and top vents maximize
airflow through the helmet for a cool, comfortable ride. |

Forced Air
Air Bladder Technology
The Vortex Top Forced Air features an air bladder top pad with micro
ventilation holes that not only accelerate airflow but evenly
disperse it around the driver's head for maximum comfort and
cooling. |

The Vortex Top
Forced Air features a pipe on the top of the helmet that
channels airflow from an external system and circulates it
around the top of the head to reduce heat and increase cooling
and onto the front of the shield to prevent fogging. The Vortex
Top Forced Air is based on our lightweight Vortex and has been
perfected through testing with top Nextel Cup drivers. Locating
the pipe on the top of the helmet instead of the side allows for
increased driver head movement because the pipe does not
interfere with the protective head surround of the latest safety
seats. |

GTX

The GTX features
a front lip and rear aerodynamic spoiler and is an ideal
choice for open cockpit forms of racing including formula
cars, sprint cars and karting. The GTX features a venturi
air exchange system that increases ventilation. As air flows
over the helmet, the venturi effect increases cooling inside
the helmet and prevents shield fogging by creating a vacuum
to pull airflow through the helmet. The helmet's recessed
side chin bar vents provide ventilation while not allowing
dirt to enter into the helmet.
